Knee pain and numbness
« on: May 28, 2012, 03:41:00 PM »
I was working out about a week ago then went to get a drink and tripped over one of my dog's toys and fell right on both knees. One knee is numb but looks okay, the other hurts and there is a odd bone that is sticking out, but it isn't bothering my mobility. I am worried I did something to my kneecap, but I can move around okay.. Should I see my doctor? I can walk okay but once I sit the pain sets in. I'm hoping it's something that will subside, I do not have great insurance. Any advice is appreciated, thanks.

if your insurance isn't 'great' but you have concerns - a trip to your family doc and a couple of basic xrays may be in order - at least you can rule out if you've got a bone chip with that odd bit sticking out....
