grinding knee

ive said on here many times now ive had a microfracture done
and although i am walking around,jogging and doing most things pain free my knee still grinding at the outside of the knee, is this something to do with the mtx fix or something else?

Where abouts in the knee was the mfx.

Possibly the knee is tracking latterally , have you kept up with your vmo strenghtenning?

I'd get a pt to ahve a look, it might need taping or just a bit more vmo work but it's best to get a proffessional opinion.

i had a lateral release done at the same time as the micro-fracture
which was done on the lateral side of the knee about 1.5cm was repaired
i am working very hard on building muscle again at present i am lifting around 50-60kg using both legs doing leg extension
and 50kg on the bad leg doing leg press!
jogging is ok now too i,m doing 15mins at a time slowly building it back up
