Outcome (:
« on: April 14, 2012, 07:30:14 AM »
So today was just a normal day and it was raining and i was walking (or limping should i say) by this on guy at school. He was carrying an intsrument box and he totally jams it into my BAD knee!! Gahh !! It hurt so bad. It swelled up even more and it was already swollen enough. Im noticing that im limping even more now... And also right at this second its throbbing...and it hurts....owie. Ice would help right? Oh and im going to the Doctor next week for an MRI. Do you think that because of today it might have gotten worse?

Oh dear.  Take some painkillers and rest.  You could try ice, but given your previous issues, may be wise to avoid (at least if not properly wrapped in a towel  ;) )

The MRI will be to diagnose what is/was wrong - regardless of the new injury - this is a good thing :)

No one here can really answer what is wrong with your knee, only a doctor can do so, from the examination and imaging  :)  We can just offer support once you know.  I am guessing you are in your teens so this is 10x the case - doctor + parents

Good luck :)

Ouch. People can be very careless... ???

Hope the knee has settled down a bit now! If not then I would contact your doc and see what they think and whether it needs looking at again.
