I've tried all the cheap cho-pat products for PF, but has anyone had any luck in increasing their activity level (ie- sports/hockey) by using an unloader brace to potentially take pressure off the PF joint?
I have a 8mm full thickness defect on the medial side, and it occurred to me that perhaps looking into an unloader brace might permit me some exercise without wearing further at the defect.
I'd love to hear some feedback! I know very little about bracing, but I'm desperate to regain some activity.
