Patella cartiledge damage
« on: February 03, 2012, 03:08:18 AM »
I have cartiledge damage on the back of my right patella, nov 2010 I had microfracture surgery but it failed, I Was still able to play soccer on it and pretty much continued my every day activities with only some pain during and worse pain that night but still plenty manageable, but last week I did a memoral walk that was around 30 miles. Now I can't even walk without a sharp burning pain in my knee, everything else is really bad it's giving out on me and always painful. It's been 5 days and I know it's going to be painful but I expected it to start to get better and it's not... At all. My OS had recomended the OATs procedure but we could wait awhile for that to have to happen ( at best 2 years) should I give it a few more days or should I talk to my OS. I'm still a teenager and really don't kow what to do.
