7 months post op from DeNovo NT to the right femoral condyle, and a really long time after ACI bilateral patellas ;) (coming up on 5 years in April, I think)

Good news:

DeNovo NT is awesome.  I did a 63 mile charity road cycling event 4-5 months after surgery and finished in just over 3 hours.  Once I was cleared to activity, strength gains came quickly.

I recently had my follow up MRI, and all the grafts look good and stable.  The bad news....

I have a new area of damage, 5x5 mm in the right lateral central tibial plateau.  No idea where that came from.  I still have to discuss the plan with my doc and see what's next.  I am looking into the Tissue Gene C clinical trial.

I'll continue with updates periodically!
37 year old physical therapist, Left lateral release '92, bilateral debridement and scope '04, bilateral patellar cartliage defects, denied ACI repeatedly by insurance.  Scope and debridement 12/06 L knee.Bilat patellar ACI with Fulkerson 4/23/07.
