« on: December 13, 2011, 09:46:08 PM »
I have a client who has started to conplain of pain in the medial plica, eight months after having blunt force trama to her knee. Is this possible? Or does the pain always manifest much quicker?

Hi There,

I fell down hard onto my right knee while running in October 2007 and ended up having a scope and had my medial plica removed and fat pad trimmed. Pre Op felt pain and catching on the lateral side of my knee. A blow to the knee similar to what happened to me could cause problems with the medial plica and fat pad as my knee was fine until the fall.
