POST ACL & LCL
« on: December 02, 2011, 02:21:02 PM »
Hi don't know if this is in the right place but there we are

I had an ACL & LCL reconstruction on my left knee on 26 nov lots of pain for a couple of day but now not bad at all came home on crutches in a brace with both legs in bandage as they took a hamstring ligament from my right leg to use in the left.
Just had my 1st physio been told Iv'e been doing to much all i can do is move foot up and down and tighted my thigh muscules for the next 4 to 6 weeks wow all that day time tv what a joy
Anyone gone through this that can tell me how things progress hope faster after 6 weeks are over

Yup! Still not 100% yet but I'm seeing my ortho on 13th feb so hopefully he can give me advice on what I think is an adhesion between patella tendon + fat pad. How are you getting on rehab wise? I was on crutchess for 12 weeks woohoo! :D
