Tibiofibular Joint Instability
« on: December 01, 2011, 12:13:46 AM »
Hi All:

I know this topic was passed around in the past. But I just came home from a follow-up from the Orthopedic's office and I was diagnosed with this about 5 months ago and have done PT, banding, tapping etc. My ankle now has instability as well. Their words to me were "Give me a week to research the options because we are not very familiar with this". I know it is now 2011 and is there anyone or any hope to get this fixed? Most of the people are very active as I. I work as an EMT as well as ski patrol and do not want to give any of this up because of this injury but I also cant imagine how I am going to be able to do any of it with this injury when I cant even run from the car to house without my ankle and knee giving out on me. Any words of wisdom because I really need it-
