Meniscus tear question?
« on: August 24, 2011, 04:30:15 PM »
Hello!

I've got my MR results today. It looks okay (I think ???). Tendons are ok, cartilage is fine too.
Only problem is that lateral meniscus  from anterior horn to the pars intermedia is degenerated and on this part is one horisontal tear.
There I have small meniscus cysts too.
My question is, does this kind of injury needs surgery? I am a professional athlete.

Thank you very much.
