ak knee pain

  • Guest
moderate lateral patellar subluxation and tilt in extension

full thickness chondral fissuring at latral patellar facet and latreal aspect of trochlear groove

quad tendon has mild distal thickening and increased signal intensity

congenitally shallow yet steeply angulated trochlear groove

Anyone have anything similar?  I have chronic knee pain.  I can walk but definitely not run or move fast up stairs.  I live in an area where i'd have to fly to see a specialist and would like to have some idea of what I'm talking about before I go.

Thanks for any responses!

If I understand the MRI report correctly then you have no cartilage left below knee cap and trochlear groove. This has to do with ur knee cap alignment problem and due to this the cartilage was worn off over the time. Depending on your age and the activity level that you would like to have post surgery there may be some options which your doctor may discuss with you.
