After having my leg in cast for 8 weeks (ruptured mcl and acl and torn meniscus) I am now trying to build the muscles back up with my physio's help. The problem I now have is that I work in an office and am sat at my desk all day. For the first three weeks I was sliding my foot backwards and forwards under my desk to try and get my leg to bend. Now I have a good bend on my leg this exercise is not needed any more. I still have a lot of work to do to build up my legs muscles though. Does anyone have any suggestions for exercises I can do whilst working and sat at my desk? I didn't know whether a mini stepper under my desk would work or not, any thoughts gratefully received as I feel I should be doing more during the working day. I do exercise during breaks but that doesn't feel like its enough.
