Problem With Bending My Knees.
« on: June 06, 2011, 10:42:47 PM »
I noticed this problem long time ago.

I can't sit on my knees, I can't sit in bended knees, it just feels like they will tear apart, so I get up.

It also hurts a lot to have my knee against the floor. A LOT.

Best go see a doctor, or a physiotherapist - I don't think anyone of here will be able to give you a diagnosis - you need someone to take your history, examine your knees, maybe take x-rays or an MRI scan. How long have you had this issue?  Are you normally fit and well?  Can you walk ok, jog/run, swim, ride a bike?

I can't kneel comfortably either on one knee as I have damage to my cartilage on the bottom of my thigh bone, at the point where the knee touches the ground, so I don't really except very gently on the top of my knee!  I cannot cross my legs properly either for the same reason (I assume this is what you mean by 'bended knees' rather than just sitting on a chair with your legs bent?

Good luck with getting professional help and a diagnosis  :)
Came off bike onto concrete 9/9/09
LK arthroscopy 8/2/10
2nd scope on 16/12/10
RK arthroscopy on 5/2/15
Lateral meniscus trim, excision of hoffa's fat pad, chondral stabilisation
LK scope 10.1.19 medial menisectomy, trochlea microfracture, general tidy up

Well, I my body build is skin and bones, lol. I can exercise really well, I can dance, jog, run, swim and ride a bike...

It's like.. My knees start to swell after bending them like, sitting on them, or like, putting more pressure on them...
But the feeling is like they're gonna tear apart.
