A brief intro
« on: May 16, 2011, 06:40:10 AM »
I'm Kate. I'm 31 and I have had knee pain since I was a teen (at the time diagnosed as Osgood-Schlatter). As I got older, the pain and grinding didn't go away. When I was 23, I was diagnosed with patellar tendonitis and later that year I tore my left lateral meniscus for the first time. The knee injuries, pain and surgeries have been a part of my life ever since. I've also had a ruptured Baker's cyst, torn patella tendon, another torn left lateral meniscus all within the past few years. I'm currently in physio and I'm going to have surgery (again) on my meniscus.

My husband James and I are both originally from Oxford, although we've lived in Kentucky (just north of Louisville) for a year, we came here so James could work, but we plan on moving back to Oxford by the end of the year. I've been blessed with a supportive husband. I found this site while searching info on meniscus injuries.
