Clunking knee following TKR

Help please, I'm 6 weeks post op following a total knee replacement. My recovery has been uneventful, lots of pain but now have full range of movement. Still some pain but bearable, what I can't bear is the horribly clunking feeling I have when I walk. Please tell me ths is temporary and will go away in time.
