5 weeks post op Hemi-Cap and MAJOR issues, UGH UGH UGH!
« on: March 16, 2011, 04:25:16 AM »
Things were going very well!

My biggest issue was my knee cap "poping" and alternating up/down the steps.

Went for my post op 5 weeks appt and , yeah, umm, its REALLY bad

My knee cap is dislocating majorly.

My doc does 100 TKR/PKR a year and was dumbfounded.  He was literally like oh Sh!t!

three things:

1) my quad is just still weak...

2) the repair they do to the quad when they split the quad to get into the knee joint partially failed

3) my tracking that was perfect is now totally screwed nad i need a lateral release

I think its number 2, the one part of my quad is totally atrophied, it won't "fire"

I went to PT and the did deep muscle stim.  It was the most pain i have ever experienced in my life.  I gave birth naturally, and contractions had nothing o this pain!

Anyhow, any one have anything similar?

I am biking 5 miles a day, to help , i have to watch my knee bend b/c as soon as i pass that threshold, I am screwed.
