PKR- lateral side recovery
« on: February 23, 2011, 05:24:27 PM »
Hi
I'm 12 weeks post op PKR lateral side with the Stryker model. I was spinning on the road bike at 2 weeks and hiking trails at 4 weeks. This all felt really good and was a good way to get the swelling/ fluid out of the joint. the first month had pain gains every week the second month the gains slowed down and now the 3rd month it seems to be at a standstill as far as gains from pain go. Some days feel good but others the pain is intense. I seem to be going backward. Pain is generally at the site of replacement parts.  people say this is normal and you make great gains for the first 3 months then its sore for months 3-6. Then about 6 months out its all good! Has anybody else experienced this regression and is there a reason for it?

Hi
Just checking in to see how you are doing with your PKR.  I had my lef PKR done a little over a year ago.  I am still not able to walk without severe pain.
Would love to know where you had your surgery and if you are ok now.

Thanks
