bilateral TKR question about findings on report
« on: February 10, 2011, 09:06:50 PM »
Can any of you decipher the findings from my bilateral TKR surgery?  I am just curious- THANK YOU!

"There were severe tricompartmental changes in the left knee and severe medial compartmental changes with lateral Casey lesion on the tibia and the right knee.  There was bone substance loss in the medial compartment on both knees.  There was moderate varus with slight flexion deformity."

I am doing great after surgery- just four weeks ago- walking without any help, been driving for a week.  The pain is so much better than before!

My hips hurt more than my knees, I don't know if that is because I am walking correctly for a change or what.

Any help with the report would be greatly appreciated.

THanks!

SJB
