MRI after ACL repair - what does it look like?
« on: February 10, 2011, 12:27:55 AM »
Hi - I have torn my ACLs 3x.  Long story short, Right in 92 repaired with patella tendon, Left in 99 repaired with hamstring, Left in 2003 not repaired and Saturday...  Right again (I think).  I finished my MRI today and am examining the pix.  However, I am confused as to what a repaired ACL in MRI looks like.  Does the tendon show as a dark band like the original ACL?  I can't read anything into the images and am impatiently waiting until Fri when I see my doc.  Just wanted to see if anyone knew...  Thanks!
