help me knee's are knackered ?

    does anybody else have the problem of going down
hill's and feeling like someone has injected napalm into
youre patellar ligament . no problem going up apart from the usual grateing and things. any comments would
helpfull 36 year old man done some none knee friendly
sports. done the injury by walking on the west highland
way to many miles in a short time. not enough training
always learned the hard way.

Beano,

I am NOT a medical professional, however, I had similar symptoms when I had severe tendonitis of the patella tendon. Rest and ice usually made it better for me. If your pain is quite significant and your activity is limited I would consider seeking a medical evaluation.  There is a whole section dedicated to arthritis and patella problems on this site, maybe repost there so you can get more responses?
