Anyone know what this knee brace is called/where to get it?
« on: January 27, 2011, 12:31:37 AM »

Anyone know what these braces are called? Ive seen some NBA and Football players wearing this style of brace on a shoulder but this is the first knee version I've caught. It looks ultra supportive and comfortable for game days.

Ive been googling every search term I can think of to find out what these are called.

Sorry in advance if this is posted in the wrong section....

kinesiotaping.com

I order it from:  ProMed products

My PT started taping me in various ways just looking for some help.  I change it up but I do think taping does help.  It is not a brace, but a tape. Some people get the two confused.  Good luck.  You can get pre-cut forms also.  eagle

My accupuncture guy is trying the kinesio taping out on me this week. I've had it on for about 20 hrs so far. I think it might be helping the medial part of my pain by correcting my patella some. I'm undecided about the pain that runs up the length of my ITB.
'77- Rt knee menicus tear
'90 -2nd menscus tear
'91 -failed arthroscopy/partial menisectomy
patella dislocation 10/ 2010
Dx = grade 4 chondromalacia + synovitis + Meniscus tear + lax strained medial ligaments
Fall down the stairs 7/20/11 - mcl sprain + 2 meniscus tears
