Knee Goes Blue Colour When Showering
« on: October 08, 2003, 07:31:08 AM »
I had a scope about 2.5 months ago, and my knee is still slowly recovering.  Whenever I have a shower (only then) my knee (only the knee) turns a bluey colour!  And the other one doesnt!  Has anyone else experienced this?  I have noticed that the veins on that knee stick out on my shins more also.  Is this normal?  I figure that there must be more blood circulating in my knee trying to get it better?  Any ideas?

Hi Amanda and welcome

I would certainly tend to get a professional opinion on this one, your GP or OS should be able to shed some light on it.

I've had 3 surgeries and never experienced this and I imagine it is something to do with the circulation around and to the knee and it maybe just that it is unique to you but it may also be something that needs someone's expert opinion
