ACL problem
« on: August 19, 2010, 10:16:00 AM »
Hello

I'm looking for help- 6 months ago i was involved in a bad tackle playing football- i went to physio who felt my knee felt good- after trying to build it back up was sent for MRI- which confirmed i had a "intrasubstance tear of ACL". The Consultand did a lachmans and looked at my MRI and felt it was only a very slight tear as the Knee was very strong.

Now this is where my post differs from the other posts re: ACL problems.

I have a constant sensation in my knee- its not pain but its very uncomfortable. i can run in figure of 8 no problem- cant hop as good on one knee than the other though- no matter how much excercise i do. The feeling in my knee is hard to describe- it can feel cold. I thought by 6 months the pain would have gone away, but its still there. sometimes it feels i cant walk as my leg is stopped from going straightning.

Has anyone else felt this sensation in their knee, and any physio understand what it is??

PLEASE HELP!!
