Privacy: How to not appear in users online

Some have expressed worries about their online presence being available in Who's Online. You can disable this easily in your Account Settings in your Profile area.

Just untick the box "Show others your online Status?" and you will then be a hidden user.

I think it would be very useful if more people listed their location & age in their profiles.

Yes, it would, but the online world is difficult when it comes to personal information. Where this is made compulsory, online users often put in dummy information, so it is not always all that helpful.
