Fresh pain again!
« on: July 06, 2010, 05:15:15 PM »
I have snapped my MCL, partially ruptured my ACL and have a small fracture on outerside of tibia. I did this about 3 months ago and the thinking from the OC is to wait 6 months before making a decision on surgery. Recovery has gone really well so far but i just started a new job last monday (had to leave my last due to knee). Since starting my knee has got gradually worst to the point wear it feels like its going to dislocate with every step. The pain is above the kneecap which i dont understand either. I am having to live on paracetamol and ibroprofen, which isnt great. Its ok once ive had a sit down for half hour or so to rest it. But my job is stood all day as its all i could get in todays climate. Does anyone have any ideas on what it may be and do you think i should ask to see physio or OC? I dont wanna carry on if it does it more harm again.
Thanks, this website is such a great resource!
