Throbbing and Sharp Knee pain
« on: July 02, 2010, 05:42:45 PM »
Hello all,

About 5 months ago I was in a skiing accident.  A snowboarder hit me from the side.  I went to the doctor and was diagnosed with a sprained MCL in my left knee.  I had an MRI and it show no tear.  Might knee was diagnosed with a quad contusion in my right knee.  I was giving Tramadol to take twice a day.  I went to physical therapy for about a month.  Both legs seem to be getting stronger except when I am sitting at work.  My knees start to throb and I get sharp pains in both knees. The throbbing pain goes all the way down my legs some times. When I get up and walk it feels better.  I am still doing my exercises.  The MCL sprain seems to be getting allot better except for the sitting. Both knees really hurt when I am sitting and does not seem to be getting any better.  Are there any other exercises I can do?  Should my knees still be hurting after 5 months?
