Hi Jane,

Your present OS sounds useless and hope you get to see a decent OS that willing to help sort out your knee problem. Prolotherapy injection do not always work, but it can work for some so maybe be one of the lucky ones. I so far have had 2 cortisone injections in my right knee and not really felt any benefits from the injections.

If you have done some damage inside your knee then your knee will remain swollen and wont go down. My knee still swollen 7 months post op, so may find it still swollen a few months after surgery, if the next OS you are going to see scopes your knee.
