OCD Recovery and Cycling
« on: June 12, 2010, 01:46:17 AM »
I was just diagnosed with OCD with a 2.1 x 1.8 x 1.1cm defect and am quite sure I'll be gearing up for some surgery soon.  Not sure which process it will be yet.

I'm perfectly fine with no more running, but cycling is a different story.  How soon are people in here returning to biking after recovering from their OCD surgeries?

Thanks,
Deane

I had maci performed on a defect 1.5cm x 1.5cm on weight bearing area of mfc. Started cycling after 6 weeks and by 12 weeks could do a fair bit. Cycling is usually classes as a safe good exercise for people with knee issues.

Thanks!  At 12 weeks were you on a street bike or indoor stationary?
