Patella Realignment Surgery reversal
« on: June 10, 2010, 03:10:41 PM »
Hi,
Before I ask a physician I was wondering whether any of you folks know if it's possible?

I had the surgery performed on Right Knee in the late 1980's. It actually weakened my knee, and did not achieve the desired result. But after going through the operation and recovery (physio)  I could not face having another operation on it. I just accepted that I made a mistake and lived with the knee.
But now the knee (patella and tendon) is giving me A LOT of pain which I believe is as a result of the surgery and I would dearly love to have the op reversed. The only trouble is the surgeon has now retired along with the Notes!!!

Numpty
Any chance you could go to your Profile, and in the 'Signature' bit list the dates and which procedures you have had (if you remember).
