I have a question that I hope someone can help me answer, as I am currently looking for a surgeon willing to take on my case....
I got the radiologist's report from my most recent MRI on my good leg. I understand everything else (grade II chondromalacia on the patella and femoral trochlear surface) but there is one that I don't get:
*"Small area of scoring at the inferior articular surface of posterior horn of medial meniscus. There is no discrete meniscal tear."*
Ok, I get the tear part, but what is this scoring and what does it mean? Is this the 'flap of articular cartilage" my OS talked about? It doesn't sound like it....
Thanks.
