Dr wouldn't manipulate until 16 weeks out. Even with that, dr could only get it to 5.Never missed therapy or home exercises. Just do not understand. Any info would be appreciated.

Are you saying that your knee only has 5 degrees of flexion?  Or are you missing the last 5 degrees of extension?  Did you dr. do a closed manipulation?  Or did he go in arthroscopically to get rid of the scar tissue?  What kind of surgery are you recovering from?  Have you gotten a second opinion from a knee specialist?

range of motion 20 degrees to 85 degrees before closed manipulation to 5 - 120 degree  range of motion after. That lasted @ 3 days and is now back to flexion 90 sitting, 99 standing/ extension -17, sitting -20. If I read the report right. It was  a total knee replacement. I have obtained my med records and they are being review by another ortho to see if he will be willing to take over the case. This is now causing pain in back and hip due to an altered gate. It's causing much frustration not to mention loss of time from work. Comments, please?
