If its not one thing its another
« on: March 28, 2010, 01:03:19 AM »
Hey everbody-I have been posting regularly on here about my mfx, which seems to have been a success (knock on wood). Recently i have started to have a sharp pain right under the center of my kneecap toward the top. Its worst when I've been sitting (especially driving) and get up to walk-i have to limp for the first few steps. It also hurts when i kick my legs while swimming. I'm pretty sure i know whats causing it as my post-mfx MRI showed grade II-III chondromalacia in this area. My OS neglected to address this particular issue which i guess paled in comparison to the cartilage lesion on the LFC which i had the mfx for. My question is how can i alleviate this pain and also how can i stop this from progressing? I'm really not up for another surgery for the time being.
