Help- Sharp knee pain after Elsmlie Trillat
« on: March 23, 2010, 09:01:57 PM »
I had surgery yesterday on my left knee, a TTT.  Recovery has been going great up until about 4pm today.  I fell asleep between 2 and 4 with ice on my knee.  When I woke up, I had sharp pains in the front of my knee.  It feels like it is stinging.  I thought it was from the ice (even though I had clothe between the ice and the knee), but it hasn't gone away yet.  I even took a pain pill a little early and still no relief.  What could this pain be?  Should I be concerned?

if you had the op only a day ago then I would have thought it could be the anasetic and other pain drugs starting to ware off - it should settle but always check with your OS/doctor if you have any concerns to be on safe side.

Thank you! It is not as bad today, just stings every once and awhile, so it could definitely be me getting my feeling back.
