Here are the pictures from my surgery  ;D


(sorry they are a little blurry, I was taking pictures of pictures...)


Looking inside the joint


Making sure the ACL is ok (it is :) )


Some slight damage to the cartilage on the back of the patella


The main problem.  Note the patella was in the wrong place...


Post lateral release... Problem fixed  :D


Some scar tissue from my previous surgery


He burnt out the scar tissue with the tool in the previous picture.  This is the result

Good photos I also have some photos taken inside my right knee when I had my knee scoped on 16th November 2009 and show the fat pad and medial plica before it was removed and after. How did you get hold of the photos and was it done through the NHS or are you living outside the UK. I would like to get my photos onto KG like you have done with yours.

I'm in the US.

My surgeon takes pictures for all his patients, which I think is pretty neat!

Did your OS also take a video of your knee surgery as well as taking pictures as they do take video's during surgery if you go private in the UK but do not do it on the NHS.

I didn't ask if there was video too.  I'm not sure I'd want to see them burning out scar tissue or cutting through a ligament...
