I had my ACL Reconstructed 2 years ago, injured my knee again 4 months ago.  I went back to my original OS and he suspected i had torn my ACL again, because he uses the Patellar Tendon (which is what i had done) as his method he referred me to another surgeon who uses the hamstring.  He sent me for a scan and it was confirmed that i had re-torn my ACL ( he sent me the results by post) as I am not seeing him until early February.

Can anyone give me information as to what will happen regarding my situation and whether it is worth going through with another ACL reconstruction, I am 29 years old.
