48 hours post microfracture with leg numbness
« on: December 12, 2009, 03:56:11 PM »
I'm 48 hours out of microfracture #2, this one on the trochlear groove.  I had a femoral/sciatic nerve block and it worked well.  Too well, actually, because the top and medial parts of my thigh are still numb.  Anyone have thoughts on whether the nerve is damaged, either from the block or tourniquet used during surgery?  Any similar experiences?  I guess the good news is that the pain isn't bad!  Thanks!
