Weird pain in knee
«
on:
November 11, 2009, 07:02:24 PM »
I am currently waiting for a TTT on my left knee but I keep getting a pain that is coming from inside my knee, the clicking is getting worse.
Although I had similar pains in my right knee when my knee trouble 1st started , it never came from inside my knee, the pain is on the left side.
Has anyone ever experienced anything similar?
I would really appreciate any help as I cant stand this pain and cant get hold of my OS.

I would love to be able to help you and give you some advise as you have done on my postings but dont know much about TTT, I get pain on the left/medial side of my right knee towards the bottom of kneecap which is fairly swollen and may be an inflammed fat pad?. Also on lateral side experience pain, knees can be a right pain at times.
I am sorry you cant get hold of your OS who would know whats up with your left knee , sorry I cant be more helpful to you and give you some good advise. Felt sorry that no one replied on your thread so thought I would show some moral support.

Thank you so much for your reply, it is appreciated.
The pain im getting in my knee is more inside my knee, so I dont think it has much to do with my kneecap problems (i think).
I have left a message on the OS's secretary answer machine saying can I get an appointment ASAP.
Not long now for you is it?

Good news is I finally got an appointment for the OS, bad news is that I cant see him until the 21st of December. Although the pain is not as bad as it was, I still cant bend my knee properly without the burning hot pain from inside my knee. One bit of relief is that my GP has found me some anti-inflammatories that don't make me throw up after taking them.
My friend who is a physio has suggested that it may be my cartiilage which just adds to everything at the moment, I am thinking she may be right as I had similar pains in my right knee previously which needed a arthroscopy to sort out.

Good news about your OS appointment next month and hope he can sort out your knee problem properly and also cant bend my knee at the moment without feeling pain but should improve once swelling goes down.
Its nice that your freinds is a PT, its nice if you know him personally and can give you some advise about your knee, my left knee causes me problems at time and it might also be the plica but can live with my left knee for now and would not have a scope unless it becomes worse.
