can feet cause the knee locking

hi all,

im in need of some advice on tibiofibular joint and wheather feet could cause knee locking?,if everything appeared normal on mri & xrays and even arthroscopy!,although upon knee examination(physical) the knee would lock when it was flexed, pain and locking lateral side

I can imagine that if you have nothing mechanically wrong with your knee, then it could be a gait or muscle problem.  A lot of knee problems do come from the feet, but they can also come from the hips or bad posture .  I would take a visit to a good physiotherapist that works with gait and muscles, I'm sure they would be able to see what the problem is.
