Banking Blood?
« on: October 21, 2009, 05:32:25 AM »
Did you bank your own blood before surgery just in case?

If so, was it arthroscopic or open knee? And did they end up needing it?

For my first two surgeries (arthroscopic) I did not, and did not need blood.  But I keep hearing mention of people banking their own blood prior to surgery, and am wondering if it's a good idea.
