Happily married (2 years in Feb- we've been together for almost 6 years!)  My hubby is my best friend, and has been incredibly supportive during all of my knee issues!  No kids, but we do have a stuffed clownfish aptly named "Clownfishie" who accompanies us on all of our trips and sleeps with us at night!

Errr.. very much single but also looking. Kinda hard to look when you've spent the last 10 weeks indoors. Somehow crutches and a leg brace don't seem really sexy. One of these days, my prince or as I like to say, Mr Darcy, will show up..

Hey Melissa,

I remember crying that at my OS, many weeks ago in a very girly tantrum about how I was single with a leg brace that wasn't even pink and how it was freshers week and to make matters worse I had to wear this horrific XXL T-shirt with my name and union position on it. However the leg brace became a talking point as well as the reason why I was wearing it (The best story involved a shark!) - It also has been known to be teamed with a toga, and a pair of board shorts and a bikini for a beach party -
But Alas Mr Darcy is still out there, (though recently have met a Mr Collins!)

Love

M

Married with two children.  My husband is a saint, no joke.  For the past 8 weeks, he has taken over the housework, cooking, laundry, grocery shopping, dropping the kids to school and picking them up.  It's amazing.

To all you ladies who feel this way, don't be discouraged! My youngest, Iona, who I have dubbed my little narcotic child, was conceived 5 days following my LR in 2001. Straight legged, in the immobilizer, my husband apparently could not resist me. Nor could I resist him in my happy drug induced state. But I can't complain, Iona rocks! hehe

Been with Chris 4 and a half years, married 3 and and half of those years. I have a just turned 6 year old daughter from a previous relationship (who knows shes special cause she has TWO daddies that love her ;)) and of course the ever evil 2 and a half year old Iona.
3/93 scope torn meniscus, 10/00 sched for LR but remvd exc. scar tiss 11/01 LR,  repair  degen men. tear 10/02 TTT with agg. trauma since 12/04 screw rem. dlng w/bone mass loss in knee, medial subluxg 9/05 open wedge HTO. More to come...
