Hi, I'm new to this forum.  I;m a 29 year old male and in good health.  I had an sporting accident nearly 2 years ago and lots of pt that didn't work.

I recently had a chrondoplasty on the medial femoral cordyle and after 11 weeks my OS is concerned because my quads are still weak and has sent me for an mri.  I'm not in much pain but I still limp and find it difficult to get about.  I am concerned about my chrondoplasty and have a few questions:

Are chrondoplasty's of the mfc generally successful?
How Do you know if it has failed?
Can it be damaged easily?
Could it be fixed with mfx?
I was told 12 weeks how long do they usually take to recover from?

The scope showed I had plicas and a tiny tear in my acl, the peice of ligament was found in the postereo lateral compartment as awell as the cartliage tear.
