grrrr lateral release - need advice!
« on: June 28, 2010, 10:30:19 AM »
so ive had two lateral releases, one on my right knee in january, one on my left knee in may. obviously the left knee is still in rehab and still has a bit of swelling etc but my main problems with my right knee. both my knees were maltracking but the right one always caused me more pain. around about march and april i had no pain in my right knee at all and i thought wow this operation was definately worth it, but since the beginning of may the results seem to have gone down hill and it seems like my left knee is having less pain than my right although it is still healing.
i dont know what to do, i dont see my surgeon till the 25th july and i dont want another operation i just want to be able to exercise and simply walk with no pain. he always said a lateral release wasnt a cure, but if its not a cure what is?!
