On-going pain and instability in ACL revision and torn meniscus
« on: September 28, 2009, 08:57:49 PM »
Hey everyone!

I am writing because I am incredibly frustrated with my recurring knee injury and I am looking for any option I may have to get me back into an active lifestyle.

I am a 25 year old female. I had an ACL reconstruction using an allograft and a meniscus trim in 2000. I had a subsequent ACL revision and additional meniscus trim in 2007. I went through a thorough and methodical physical therapy program both times, but I still have extreme pain and stiffness in the affected knee. I have always enjoyed atheletics, but running is painful and difficult and lateral movement is virtually impossible.
