Why is my knee keep having muscle spasms and throbbin?

My knee was fine this weekend but yesterday it throbbed and today its been having muscle spasms!

knee pain started March 8,07 when i fell and my knee twisted.
still haven't gone to an Orthopedic surgeon! But I hurt my knee again on 12/4/08.
Im 25 and have injured my knee twice now!
RIP Dad! I miss you-I lost my Dad in May(2008)

Did you happen to do more than usual this weekend? More walking, standing etc? You may have just made it angry.

No I didn't do much then! Today its been feeling weird again and I haven't done much either. No muscle spasms today just pain right behind my knee.
Maybe it is angry I thought it was supposed to rain cause it was hurting but its not going to so I don't know why my knee is hurting cause I didn't fall on it recently(a few months I did but it got better).
