I think the not knowing is what really drives a person batty.  Good luck with your surgery.

         It might sound a little funny to ask BUt come to think of it now, why didn't u go for a knee TRANSPLANt rather then all tht repair in the medial compartment and the other stuff in ur knee... (lol @ other stuff in ur knee...)

i mean doesn't a having a transplant mean tht u get the entire thing completely new again..

i dunno much BUt was just ichin to ask u this stuff so just wrote in... 

I hope u recover well...

Not a problem asking.  My menisci are just fine and dandy.  It was the back of the kneecap and the troclear grove that were bad.  Plus it would not have been covered by the insurance.  If they find a way to transplant a whole knee I might be game for that, but don't think they can.
