A couple things I couldn't do without...
« on: June 06, 2009, 02:52:50 AM »
I was not a fan of traditional (axilla/underarm) crutches, they hurt my shoulder, were clumsy, and it was hard to still do stuff.  So I quickly switched to Canadian (forearm) crutches.  I love them!  (Though I love not using them even more ;) )

I am also not a fan of taking medication, especially ibuprofen (taken too often its hard on your stomach).  So I have found topical ibuprofen.  BioEntopic Ibuprofen Creme, available online or in health food stores.  Its great, because you can rub it on directly where it hurts (as long as you don't have a open wound or anything like that).

I'm sure there are more, but thats what I can think of right now.
