hope i got this right.....a meniscal degeneration... is really a tear?

I don't know what it is, but it showed up on my post op MRI knee.  The weird thing is, the OS who did the surgery on this  knee in 11/08 said my meniscus was "pristine". 

Maybe read the MRI Lies on the INFO HUB, in the upper left hand corner here.  Then down to right side of that page.  Or search for MRI Lies article.

MRIs are not always accurate.
3/25/09: R Knee: Arthofibrosis (LOA), chrondoplasty, excise plica, anterior interval release.
11/12/08:  L Knee: LR, Chrondoplasty of patella & MFC, Excise Plica, Synovectomy - 2005-2008: 12-16 weeks bi liateral knee injections with steroids. 
---& tried Synvisc, nothing but cost & 9-10 pain.
