Hey there,
I had jumpers knee in HS and I was playing plenty of basketball as well. Basically, you knee should feel stable and pain free. I think that the 3 weeks of rehab will do you good. If you are not presenting with pain or any instability right now that's great. Keep up on the rehab and don't try to do anything sooner than expected. Do not short change yourself. If you fix the problem correctly now, you will have far fewer problems in the future. So to reiterate, listen to the Doc. Rehab rehab rehab, and take your time. You know your body better than anybody else, so listen to what your body tells you. Get better, and good luck.
