Antibiotic spacer in knee....anyone ever have this?

Im having my implant taken out and an antibiotic spacer put in on Feb. 13. Has anyone gone through this ordeal that could give me any info, tips, etc?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I've read some of your posts. Is it because you are allergic to the implant?


Good Luck and Go STEELERS. (I've been a fan since I was a kid-I'm from New England, If my Pat's aren't in it then the STEELERS are my team. Infact I have thier Championship hat I'm going to wear all day Sunday.)

They think so. The place that does the testing doesnt respond, and my knee has continued to worsen. So, this will take care of any underlying infection.

YAY!! for being a STEELER fan!!  I can't wait till Sunday!! ;D
