up until i was about 7 or 8 I was totally right-handed, then for some reason I don't remember or understand, I decided to change. Ny teacher at school used to get very annoyed with me writing with my left hand, said a pen or pencil would be better, but I'm just stubborn I guess. Her persistence in trying to make me do something i didn't want to do marked me for life....I ended up writing left-handed, but worse than that I became a teacher!!! Funnily enough, the school i worked in had a very high number of left-handed aquarians in my (languages) department. Maybe there's a connection....
I  am not a total leftie, as I play sports with definite right-side dominance, but am able to process information faster across the neo cortex despite being male, though I do acknowledge that I am in a minority here compared to the female ability to multitask.
However, if pain is in the mind, my mind must currently be in my left kneee, so I'm a leftie!

I'm right-handed but when I was younger I broke my right wrist and arm and was in plaster for about 12-16 weeks. I pretty much had to teach myself to write left handed so now I am (or was) an ambi.

I haven't used my left hand for awhile though so I doubt it'd be much good for writing.

Im ambi...... I have a slight preference for the left, but I can use both to write etc.....

Weird thing is.... different things I do different handed..... lawn bowls - left, 10 pin bowling -right, I bat in cricket right handed, but bowl left.  Generally I am a lefty, but the occasional right handed actvity jumps in there to confuse me every now and again!

I bat right handed and bowl left handed, play table tennis with either and have been known to throw the tennis racquet into my left hand to avoid a dodgy backhand stroke! Can't for the life of me serve left handed though. Keep wanting to throw the racquet in the air and hit it with the ball!

lefty here. at least when writing, unless i want to forge hubby's name then i do it right handed. i crochet right handed , most things i can do with either hand.when i was little i sucked my left thumb. which made me want to do things right handed so i didn't have to take my trhumb out of my mouth.
my dad was left ahnded and one of my kids, my youngest is too and one granddaughter. also i have a left handed daughter in law. and you know thr brain works opposite so the left side of the brain controls the right side of the bodyt. so us lefties are the only ones in our right mind.
  cTCH YOU LATER

When I was a kid in school I was "trained" to write right handed, but I have to turn the paper sideways.
I can draw with both hands though.

Naturally right handed, but I messed up my hand and wrist when I was smaller and dislocated my right thumb lots, so I can write with my left and I do a lot of things what my parents call cack handed....like eat with my knife and fork the same way as if I was left handed and I drink with my left hand.

I'm a lefty but when I was little my big sister decided that I was cutting incorrectly and decided to show me how to do it the "right" way.  At least it made it easier in school and such since I didn't need left-handed scissors! :)
